White Williams - New ViolenceSingle Review: White Williams - New Violence

New Violence is the debut single by 24-year old Joe Williams (aka White Williams) from Cleveland, USA.

The single is taken from his forthcoming debut album, Smoke (to be released on 21st April).

The single is a short catchy pop song that blends a throbbing bassline, a good helping of a treble-heavy distorted electric rock guitar with an analogue electronic 80’s synth pop sound.

The track comes and goes too quickly. I just start tapping my foot when it fades to a close. On this evidence I’m looking forward to the album.

New Violence is available from Domino Six as a digital download or 7″ single with a cover of the 1965 hit single from the Strangeloves, I Want Candy.

Visit White Williams official MySpace page to listen to New Violence and other tracks from the forthcoming album.
