Secretsundaze will be featuring an intimate back to basics party atmosphere at their New Years Eve party bash, taking over the venue The CAMP (City Arts and Music Project) for the night in the heart of London’s Shoreditch.
They have invited both Delano Smith (Mixmode, Detroit) and close friend Wbeeza (Third Ear) to welcome in the new year. Delano is one of the unsung and most underrated Detroit artists and has a huge House music heritage having been cited by none other than Derrick May as a major inspiration as a DJ.
His music on the likes of his own Mixmode and also the UK’s excellent Third Ear has a great warmth, depth and a class only dreamed of by other artists. Just check his recent Nebula EP on Mixmode or Midnite on Third Ear for a taster. This is a very rare and highly anticipated performance from Delano in UK.
Also guesting on the night will be Wbeeza – Live (Third Ear). Warren’s music has already made serious waves around the globe. His sound is influenced by Detroit house / techno as a base yet with a heavy smattering of jazz, soul and other urban London flavours such as garage and dubstep.
So with two super hot underground guests joining Giles Smith & James Priestley, going for a return to a smaller more intimate party vibe taking over one of London’s buzziest new venues, two of London’s reigning Disco crews hosting the second room and a no-nonsense admission price, this is without doubt one of the hottest new year tickets.
