Dirt Frequencies is the first collaborative release from top producers Diarmaid O’Meara & Luke Creed, featuring the tracks Bitchbags and Niteflix, recorded during a week locked away in the Irish countryside with nothing but sound equipment and alcohol for company.
Bitchbags comes as the release A side, with its mash up of new age electronica and European techno with a minimal element that warps the track towards a sort of hypnotic intensity. Created for both the big room and small speaker sound, the intensity and originality of the track has been grabbing attention across the Europe for several months.
The B side counter track, Niteflix, is a harder, more technotic and filthier sound, made more for the specialist techno acts and fans but still comes with a similar warped style that grabs the attention and lets the mind wander.
2009 has seen Diarmaid guest mix on, and record sessions for, countless national and international radio stations including BBC Introducing/ATL Dance show, XFM – London, DI-FM, KISS FM – Sweden, NRJ Radio – Tenerife, RTE Pulse Show – Ireland and Absolute-Technoise Radio. All of his recent releases have been added to numerous national and international playlists and his recent video was selected for Canada’s #1 Dance video show – BPMTV.
Dirt Frequencies is released on Gobsmacked Records and is available through all Electronic music orientated digital download stores.
